Coordination of the work efforts between "GOIC" and Secretariat General of the Gulf Cooperation Council

On Tuesday, January 15th, 2019- His Excellency Mr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Mohammed, the Secretary General of "Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting", (GOIC) visited the headquarter of the Secretariat General of the Gulf Cooperation Council in the Saudi capital Riyadh, with a number of the officials of the organization. During which he met with His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al- Zayani, the Secretary General of the Gulf cooperation council and a number of Assistant Secretaries.
During the meeting, His Excellency Dr Al- Zayani welcomed His Excellency, the new Secretary General, congratulated him and wished him success in his new position.
Consultation meetings have been held between some of the concerned officials in the Secretariat General of the Gulf Cooperation Council and in the Organization. The meeting has been attended by His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Al-Mohammed, the Secretary General, His Excellency Mr. Shamlan Aljeheidli, the Assistant Secretary General of the Industrial Information and Studies Sector, Mr. Mohammad Al-Hizam, Director of Financial Affairs and Mr. Jasim Mohamed, Manager of Public Relations from (GOIC) side. In addition to His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Hamad Al-Uwaisheg, the Assistant Secretary General for the Political Affairs and Negotiations, His Excellency Mr. Khalifa Bin Saeed Al-Abri, the Assistant Secretary General for Economic and Development Affairs, Mr. Abdulaziz Ahmed Al-Ghanim, General Supervisor of Financial and Administrative Affairs, Mr. Abdul Malik Al-Sheikh, Head of the Economic Affairs Sector and Mr. Khaled Al-Sheikh, Director General of the Bureau of Economic and Development Affairs from the Secretariat General side. Where they discussed the mechanism to support the role of the Organization and its new vision after joining the Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council, emphasizing on the role of the Organization as a specialized consultative Organization and on the importance of cooperation and joint coordination of the work efforts in an integrative format between the Secretariat and the Organization. They also agreed to support a number of decisions on economic diversification and industrial policies in the GCC States, beside to exchange of information, data and experiences between the Organization and the concerned sectors of the Secretariat and the importance of the studies, consulting and training courses that the organization provides. All to serve the efforts of advancing industrial development, looking forward to putting a new future vision for the organization that matches the aims of Secretariat General of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the economic objectives of GCC States.
