His Excellency Mr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Mohammed, Chief Executive Officer of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC), chaired the organization’s periodic meeting with its departments to follow up on the completion of the implementation of GOIC’s 2025 work plan. The meeting was attended by the esteemed directors and heads of departments across the organization.
At the outset of the meeting, His Excellency expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to all employees for their efforts in delivering numerous projects under the programs and objectives set by the organization. These initiatives aim to support the efforts of the GCC member states, promote comprehensive industrial development in Arab countries, strengthen joint Arab action, and support the strategies of member states in alignment with the vision of the GCC General Secretariat to enhance industrial and economic integration among member states. These efforts contribute to the development of the GCC framework for joint action and support endeavors to achieve harmony and coordination across GCC states.
In this context, His Excellency commended the organization’s outstanding performance at all levels, particularly at the GCC and regional levels. He highlighted the speech delivered by His Excellency Jasem Mohammed Albudaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, before Their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the GCC states, during the forty-sixth session of the GCC Supreme Council Summit, held on Wednesday, 3 December 2025, in Manama, Bahrain. In his address, the Secretary-General referred to achievements related to economic integration and development in the GCC, including the launch of the Gulf Industrial Platform (GIP) and the commencement of the GCC Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution—projects that were delivered and assigned for implementation to GOIC. He also referred to the completion of the Arab Industrial Integration Strategy, prepared by GOIC in cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining (AIDSMO). This strategy complements the Unified Gulf Industrial Strategy for the GCC, recently completed by GOIC, in addition to the update of
several national industrial strategies across GCC countries.
During the meeting, several topics related to the organization’s 2025 plan were reviewed, including achieved milestones, ambitious economic objectives, implementation challenges, and mechanisms to overcome them. The discussion also covered GOIC’s 2026 work plan, updates on the Gulf Industrial Platform, the GCC Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and the Arab Industrial Integration Strategy. All developments related to the agenda items were duly reviewed.
The meeting concluded with an open discussion and review of proposals and perspectives related to the plans and programs being implemented by the organization’s various departments, in line with GOIC’s strategic vision.
