In the context of ongoing cooperation and coordination related to industrial development in the GCC countries, a joint meeting was held on Thursday, the 29th of February, at the headquarters of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting. The aim was to discuss avenues of cooperation between the organization and the Office of Economic and Development Affairs at the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council, enabling the organization to activate its role in aspects related to conducting studies, preparing reports, and executing projects related to the industrial sector of the GCC countries.

Attending the meeting from the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council was His Excellency Mr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, the Director-General of the Office of Economic and Development Affairs. Mr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Mohammed, the Chief Executive Officer of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting, welcomed His Excellency upon his arrival, and both parties met in his office, attended by several managers and employees of the organization.

During the meeting, the role of the organization in supporting industrial sectors and economic development in the GCC countries was highlighted. Emphasis was placed on achieving industrial and economic cooperation and integration among member states to enhance regional and global competitiveness. Additionally, a visual presentation was given to introduce the professional level of the team responsible for conducting studies and the commitment to applying quality standards to ensure high-quality outputs. The presentation also covered the competitive advantages of the organization compared to other consulting service providers.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Mr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Mohammed, the CEO of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Excellency Mr. Khalid Al-Sheikh for the commitment of the Office of Economic and Development Affairs in cooperating with the organization in implementing some studies related to the industrial sector. His Excellency Mr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, the Director-General of the Office of Economic and Development Affairs at the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council, also expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and extended his wishes for the success and prosperity of the organization in its endeavors to serve the industrial development goals of the GCC countries.
