The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) is responsible for managing the implementation of the unified industrial strategy for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and integrating it within its strategic objectives for the period (2024-2028).​

Within the framework of continuous cooperation and coordination related to industrial development in the GCC countries, the Executive Office of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) held its first regular meeting for the year 2024 on Tuesday, January 23rd, in the organization's headquarters in Qatar - Doha.

The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Mohammed bin Hassan Al-Maliki, the Deputy Minister of Commerce and Industry for Commerce and Industry in Qatar, who is also the current chairman of the Executive Office of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting. It was attended by Excellencies, the Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Industry from the GCC countries, and His Excellency Mr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Mohammed, the CEO of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting.

The meeting discussed several agenda items, including the initiatives outlined in the unified industrial strategy for the GCC countries, emphasizing their importance in supporting Gulf joint work regarding unified industrial development and the organization's role in supervising and managing the implementation plans of these initiatives. These initiatives are part of the strateGOIC objectives of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (2024-2028), reflecting the organization's strategy in adapting to global and local variables and the evolving strateGOIC orientations in industrial strategies for member states and the General Secretariat of the GCC, aiming to meet current and future aspirations and needs. This aligns with the organization's vision as a "Gulf Center of Excellence" with a global reputation and competitive edge in providing industrial and economic consultancy services. The organization's strategy is based on enhancing Gulf industrial integration, operational innovation and excellence, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

Additionally, the meeting ratified the minutes of the Executive Office meeting for the second regular session of 2023 and monitored the implementation of resolutions from the second regular session of the Executive Office for 2023. It also reviewed the financial status of member countries' contributions to the approved budget of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting for 2024, and presented the results of monitoring the implementation of decisions made by the Industrial Cooperation Committee at its 49th and 51st meetings related to the organization's work, in addition to discussing updates on the meeting agenda items.
