His Excellency the members of the Executive Office of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting convened on Sunday, the sixth of August of the current year 2023, the second regular session of the year, in Dhofar Governorate, Sultanate of Oman. The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Saleh bin Said bin Salem Masn, Deputy Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, Chairman of the current session of the Executive Office of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting. The meeting was attended by the esteemed members of the Executive Office and His Excellency Mr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Mohammed, CEO of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting.

The meeting discussed several topics on the agenda. A highlight of the meeting was the review of the strategic plan of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) for the period (2024 - 2028). According to this strategy, the organization aims to accomplish 72 industrial projects for member states and the General Secretariat, in addition to presenting 15 other initiatives. The organization also seeks to achieve 14 strategic goals through 35 performance indicators within this strategy.

The organization's strategy reflects global and local variables, as well as renewed strategic trends in the industrial strategies of member states and the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. These strategies align with the organization's vision as a globally renowned and competitively distinguished "Gulf expertise hub" in providing industrial and economic consulting services. The organization's strategy focuses on enhancing Gulf industrial integration, innovation and operational excellence, service quality, promoting investment opportunities, and increasing Gulf exports.

During the meeting, the minutes of the Executive Office meeting for the first regular session of the current year were approved, and the implementation of decisions from the first regular session of the Executive Office for the year 2023 was monitored. Additionally, the financial accounts' observers' report for the year 2022 was presented, along with the approval of the proposed budget estimate for the next year, 2024. The financial status of member states' contributions in the approved budget for the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting for the year 2023 was also discussed, along with addressing updates on the meeting agenda.
