Mr. Khaled Al-Senaidi, Assistant Secretary-General for Economic and Development Affairs at the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), paid a visit to the headquarters of the GOIC.

In the context of ongoing cooperation and coordination regarding industrial development in the GCC countries, Mr. Khaled Ali Bin Salem Al-Senaidi, Assistant Secretary-General for Economic and Development Affairs at the General Secretariat of the GCC, visited the headquarters of the Gulf Industrial Consultancy Organization in Doha, accompanied by Mr. Abdulmalik Al Al-Sheikh, Head of the Economic Affairs Sector, Mr. Yousef Al-Senaidi, Director of the Industry and Mineral Wealth Management, and Engineer Naif Zuwaid, Head of the Industrial Department.

Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Mohammed, the CEO of the Gulf Industrial Consultancy Organization, warmly welcomed Mr. Khaled Al-Senaidi and the visiting delegation upon their arrival. The two parties held a meeting at his office, attended by several managers and employees of the organization.

The visit aims to familiarize the General Secretariat of the GCC with the role played by the organization in supporting industrial sectors and economic development in the GCC countries, to enhance industrial and economic cooperation and integration among the member states and enable them to compete regionally and globally. Additionally, the visit aimed to introduce the professional level of the team responsible for conducting studies and their commitment to implementing quality standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical outputs.

During the visit, Mr. Khaled Al-Senaidi, Assistant Secretary-General for Economic and Development Affairs at the General Secretariat of the GCC, and his accompanying delegation were briefed on the projects carried out by the Gulf Industrial Consultancy Organization on behalf of the General Secretariat of the GCC. They also learned about the projects offered by the organization to the countries in the region, which aim to develop the industrial sectors in the six GCC countries: the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Sultanate of Oman, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar, and the State of Kuwait.

In the same context, visual presentations were provided during the meeting, which included an overview of the Gulf Industrial Gateway (GIG), as well as showcasing the experiences of member states in future factories and the organization's cooperation with the Small and Medium Enterprises and Entrepreneurship Committee. There was also a presentation about the Unified Gulf Product Definition project.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Mohammed, the CEO of the Gulf Industrial Consultancy Organization, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Khaled Al-Senaidi and his accompanying delegation for their visit. Mr. Khaled Al-Senaidi, Assistant Secretary-General for Economic and Development Affairs at the General Secretariat of the GCC, also expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the delegation's warm reception and extended his wishes for the success and prosperity of the organization in serving the goals and aspirations of the General Secretariat and the GCC countries.
