The participation of  GOIC supports the efforts of the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council to consolidate its presence in regional and international exhibitions

His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Mohammed, CEO of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC), confirmed that the organization's participation in Expo 2020 Dubai was an active participation and witnessed the presence and interaction of the target groups.

On the importance of the organization’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, His Excellency said: The participation of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting within the pavilion of the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf was in the interest of supporting the efforts of the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and consolidating its presence and active participation in regional and international exhibitions to highlight the role General Secretariat.

Regarding the organization’s role in its participation in the exhibition, His Excellency said: The role of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting was embodied in highlighting the investment opportunities covered by the economic and investment feasibility studies for these opportunities, which were presented within the opportunities available to the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council. His Excellency added that the organization will continue to communicate with companies and investors to provide technical advice and expertise that investors may need within the available investment opportunities.

His Excellency added that the organization, during its participation in the exhibition, presented promising industrial investment opportunities estimated at about 2.7 billion US dollars within the scope of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf. To become more competitive regionally and globally.

Opportunities and services for investors and support for industry sectors

Regarding the activities included in GOIC’s participation during Expo 2020 Dubai, His Excellency said: The organization’s participation came under the title ((“GOIC” is your gateway to endless industrial investments in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries)), and it included a set of main events accompanying the convening during the days of participation. The exhibition, which fell under the main themes of Expo 2020 Dubai, related to sustainability, mobility and opportunities

His Excellency added that in this aspect, the organization presented a review of the industrial opportunities in the GCC countries, whereby "GOIC" took the initiative to conduct some pre-feasibility studies in the various sub-industrial sectors that are of high importance in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, where investors had the opportunity to view them. And finding out what is commensurate with the field of their investment or the expected return on their investments, in addition to another event on (industrial investment opportunities in the Sultanate of Oman) that was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Investment Promotion in the Sultanate of Oman and in the framework of mutual coordination between the organization and the member states of the Cooperation Council. Among the events was a presentation Interactively for the (Gulf Industrial Portal) platform and what it contains of data, statistics and direct reports related to countries, industrial activities and products, in addition to foreign trade data for Gulf countries,

 With regard to the growth witnessed by the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in the various industrial sectors, His Excellency stressed: The organization highlighted the future of industrialization in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries through the “Promising Gulf Industries” event, which included informing investors of the promising productive sectors in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and presenting regional capabilities. And the incentives available to global investors through main axes represented in (identifying current investment trends, sectors and areas of interest), (highlighting promising opportunities in line with the countries’ long-term vision) and (manufacturing capabilities from the perspective of import substitution).

His Excellency stressed that Expo 2020 Dubai constituted a good opportunity to benefit from the presence in this global event, to see the experiences of the pavilions of the participating countries and the organizing institutions, and to exchange experiences related to the developmental aspects in the areas of economic development provided by many participating institutions and bodies. The delegation of the organization attended the Indian Business Conference - The Gulf Cooperation Council, organized by the pavilion of the Republic of India, had the opportunity for the organization’s delegation to visit a number of government institutions and centers in (the Emirate of Dubai) in the United Arab Emirates, including the "Dubai Future Foundation", the "Emirates Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution", the "Government Accelerators Center" and " One Service Center" and "Dubai Youth Center"

It is worth noting that the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) concluded last Wednesday the activities of its participation in the Expo 2020 Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, which was held within the pavilion of the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf in the (Opportunities Zone).
