GOIC and a delegation from Ningxia, China discuss industrial cooperation

The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) hosted a meeting with a delegation from Ningxia, China, headed by Mr. Wang Heshan, Vice Governor of the Province. A number of officials from Ningxia and representatives of the economic and commercial attaché’s bureau at the Embassy of China in Qatar were members of the delegation.
At GOIC’s headquarters in Doha, the Chinese delegation was received by HE Dr. Ali Bin Hamed Al-Mulla, Assistant Secretary General for Industrial Projects Sector, HE Mr. Shamlan H O Al-Jeheidli, Assistant Secretary General for Industrial Information and Studies and GOIC heads of departments.
Dr. Al-Mulla greeted the delegation and delivered a presentation about GOIC. He stated that the Organization supports any Gulf-Chinese cooperation initiative and reiterated that GOIC was ready to cooperate with Chinese counterparts to promote the Gulf industrial sector and strengthen relationships between GCC countries and China.
Furthermore, Mr. Wang Heshan commended GOIC for its key role. He presented an overview of the China-Arab States Expo 2017 to be held in Ningxia in September 2017. Mr. Heshan asked for GOIC’s support to invite representatives from GCC chambers of commerce and industry to partake in the event.
Moreover, HE Mr. Shamlan H O Al-Jeheidli listed the services that GOIC can provide to guarantee the exhibition’s success, to include inviting corporations and institutions through chambers of commerce or the Federation of GCC Chambers (FGCCC), especially that GOIC has a strong relationship with the Federation. According to Mr. Al-Jeheidli, GOIC can also provide them with data on Gulf industrial firms registered in the Organization’s databases.
The Chinese delegation highly valued GOIC’s role, and both parties agreed on the importance of developing the Gulf-Chinese relationship in the commercial, industrial and economic areas for the benefit of both parties and to contribute to the advancement of the Gulf economy in particular.
