H.E. Bandar AlKhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, paid a visit to the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) at its headquarters in Doha.

In the context of ongoing cooperation and coordination related to industrial development in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, His Excellency Mr. Bandar Ibrahim AlKhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, visited the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting in Doha on Wednesday, May 1st. He was accompanied by a delegation including His Excellency Engineer Khalil bin Salama, Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, His Excellency Engineer Al-Badr Fouda, Ministry Undersecretary for Industrial Development overseeing the Industrial Empowerment Agency, His Excellency Mr. Omar Al-Sagheer, Advisor to the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, and His Excellency Mr. Turki Al-Qahtani, Assistant Minister for Strategic Transformation, along with several directors and department managers from the ministry.
H.E. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Mohammed, CEO of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting, welcomed the Minister and his accompanying delegation upon their arrival, and both parties met with various department heads, experts, and consultants at the organization.
The visit aims to discuss prospects of cooperation between the organization and the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia, empowering the organization and activating its role in aspects related to conducting studies, preparing reports, and implementing projects in the industrial field within the GCC countries. The visit also aims to raise awareness within the ministry about the organization's role in supporting the industrial sector and economic development in the GCC countries, towards achieving industrial and economic integration among member states.
During the visit, the Minister and the visiting delegation were briefed on the projects undertaken by the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting as part of its plan to implement projects related to the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources in Saudi Arabia, focusing on supporting the ministry's efforts in implementing studies under Saudi Arabia's initiatives.
The meeting emphasized the principle of strategic partnership and industrial cooperation between the organization and the GCC member states. Important future projects that the organization aims to implement in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources in Saudi Arabia were reviewed during the meeting, covering various sectors including manufacturing, mining, and processing industries.
Discussions also touched on expanding the organization's plans and programs at the regional and Arab levels, and finding opportunities for cooperation among Arab organizations. The Minister emphasized the importance of future cooperation between the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting
