Within the framework Continuous cooperation and coordination related to supporting industrial development in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and empowering the industrial sector in the GCC countries , and within the activities of the workshops organized by the General Secretariat of the GCC, in cooperation with the Federation of GCC Chambers, which aim to introduce joint Gulf industrial investment opportunities, promote them to investors, and discuss financing and implementation mechanisms , in order to enhance industrial and economic integration among the GCC countries .
The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) participated in these workshops by reviewing a number of promising joint Gulf industrial investment opportunities in the member states of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf. The organization's participation in the workshops came through presenting a detailed presentation of the results of the study ( Priority Joint Gulf Industrial Investment Opportunities ) , which was studied and developed by specialists and technicians at the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC), and it is within the unified industrial strategy for the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf prepared by the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC).
This study included a review of five (5) industrial investment opportunities, which are:
- Manufacturing high-pressure seamless pipes for the oil and gas sector .
- Manufacturing high-purity copper cathodes .
- Manufacturing silicon wafers .
- Manufacturing multi-indicator patient monitoring devices .
- Manufacturing sterile, single-use surgical instruments .
The workshop activities were launched by the Federation of Saudi Chambers . On Wednesday, July 15th, The Federation of Saudi Chambers hosted the workshop : ( Results of a study on priority joint industrial investment opportunities ), which was organized by the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, in cooperation with the Federation of Chambers of the Gulf Cooperation Council States, and presented by the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC). , With the participation of a number of investors, representatives of the private sector, and industry and investment stakeholders , at the Federation's headquarters In the city of Riyadh , in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,
At the beginning of the workshop, Dr. Ali bin Hamed Al-Mulla, Director of the Department of Industrial Studies and Policies, gave a presentation. In a speech delivered on behalf of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting, he emphasized that joint industrial investment represents one of the practical tools for enhancing Gulf economic integration, through the utilization of the comparative advantages, resources, expertise and industrial capabilities available in the GCC countries within joint projects of economic feasibility and strategic value .
Dr. Ali bin Hamed Al-Mulla explained that the proposed investment opportunities are not limited to establishing new factories, but also contribute to strengthening the interconnection of Gulf value chains, localizing priority industries, reducing dependence on imports, transferring advanced technologies, and expanding the participation of the private sector in industrial development .
He pointed out that cooperation among the GCC countries in implementing these opportunities would raise the efficiency of utilizing available resources in each country, provide a broader Gulf demand base, and enhance the competitiveness of Gulf products in regional and international markets, stressing the importance of transforming opportunities into integrated and marketable investment packages for investors, technical partners, and financial institutions .

Following that, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Breiki, Head of the Industrial Studies and Policies Department at the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting, presented as part of the workshop activities . A detailed presentation of the study results and the five industrial investment opportunities that were studied and developed by specialists and technicians at the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC).
The presentation covered the definition of each opportunity and the uses of its products, the size of the market and expected demand, the proposed production capacity, the requirements for raw materials and technologies, suitable locations for establishing projects, in addition to the complementary roles that the GCC countries can play in providing industrial inputs, logistics services, energy, technical expertise and target markets .
Dr. Mohammed Al-Breiki also reviewed the initial financial and investment indicators of the opportunities, possible partnership models, implementation requirements, potential technical partners, and the enablers and incentives required to raise the readiness and attractiveness of the projects to the private sector .
He stressed during the presentation that the success of these opportunities depends on presenting them to investors as an integrated investment package that includes a feasibility study, a financing model, proposed incentives, site and infrastructure requirements, mechanisms for obtaining technology, in addition to identifying potential customers and purchase agreements that can support the sustainability of demand for the products .

The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry also hosted On Wednesday, July 22, the workshop activities will take place: (Results of a study on priority joint industrial investment opportunities), which was organized by the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, in cooperation with the Federation of GCC Chambers and the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and presented by the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) , with the participation of a number of investors, representatives of the private sector and entities concerned with industry and investment, at the Chamber's headquarters in the city of (Muscat) in the Sultanate of Oman.
Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Breiki, Head of the Industrial Studies and Policies Department at the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting, presented during the workshop activities. A detailed presentation of the study's findings and the five Gulf industrial investment opportunities.
The presentation included a definition of each opportunity and its product applications, market size and expected demand, proposed production capacity, raw material and technology requirements, and suitable project locations. It also addressed the roles that GCC countries can play in providing industrial inputs, energy, logistics services, technical expertise, and target markets , in addition to initial financial and investment indicators for each project, available partnership models, implementation requirements, potential technical partners, and the enablers and incentives necessary to enhance project readiness and attractiveness to investors .
He explained that transforming these opportunities into viable projects requires the preparation of comprehensive investment packages, including feasibility studies, financing models, proposed incentives, site and infrastructure requirements, and mechanisms for acquiring technology. These packages also include identifying potential customers and securing purchase agreements that can contribute to sustaining demand for the products .

The workshop on: (Results of the study on priority joint industrial investment opportunities) witnessed interaction and interest from the participating investors and private sector representatives, as a number of aspects related to the required investment size, expected returns, financing mechanisms, availability of raw materials, demand guarantees, technology transfer requirements, and partnership models between Gulf investors were presented and discussed .
The discussions also addressed ways to promote opportunities in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and the role of government agencies, chambers of commerce and industry, and financial institutions in creating a suitable environment for their implementation, and providing incentives that contribute to reducing investment risks and accelerating effective investment decisions.
The participation of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) in the workshops (results of the study on priority joint industrial investment opportunities) comes within the framework of the role that the organization provides to support Gulf industrial development, develop quality investment opportunities, enhance cooperation between the public and private sectors, and transform the priorities of Gulf industrial integration into practical projects that contribute to economic diversification, localize value chains, and build a more integrated, competitive and sustainable Gulf industrial base .
