GOIC participates in the 50th meeting of the Industrial Cooperation Committee.

A delegation from the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting, led by His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Mohammed, the CEO, participated in the 50th meeting of the Industrial Cooperation Committee in Muscat. The meeting was held as part of the accompanying sessions of the meeting of Their Excellencies and Honorable Ministers of Commerce, Industry, and Standardization Affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and the accompanying sessions in the city of Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, on May 10th and 11th, 2023.
Among the delegation of the organization, Mr. Abdul Kareem Al-Rashid, the Strategic Planning Advisor, and Engineer Abdullah Al-Attar, the Director of Industrial Studies and Policies, participated.
The agenda of the Industrial Cooperation Committee included reviewing the report prepared by the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting on the organization's achievements, in addition to a report prepared by the organization on the experiences of member countries in future factories. One of the outcomes of the meeting was entrusting the organization with providing a concept for the functioning of an electronic information platform dedicated to Gulf industrial projects, as per the proposal of the General Secretariat of Commercial Cooperation. The meeting also called for studying the development of a unified definition for Gulf national products.
The organization's participation is part of its efforts to support the endeavors of the Council countries and the General Secretariat in achieving common Gulf strategies and cooperation, in order to serve and support the industrial sector in the GCC countries.
