Coordinating work efforts between GOIC and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in the Sultanate of Oman

Under the program of visits in order to enhance cooperation and coordinate efforts between the Organization and the Ministries of Industry and commerce in the member states, His Excellency, Mr. Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al-Mohammed, Secretary General of "Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting" (GOIC) and a number of the officials in the Organization visited the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in the Sultanate of Oman where he met , His Excellency Engineer Ahmed bin Hassan Al-Deeb, Deputy Minister of Commerce and Industry on 11/3/2019. The meeting was attended by the Assistant Secretary-General for Industrial Information and Studies Sector, Mr. Shamlan Al-Jahaidli and the Secretary General of the Industrial Projects Sector Dr. Ali Al-Mulla.
At the meeting, His Excellency, Engineer Al-Deeb welcomed the audience and congratulated the Secretary-General on taking up his new position in the Organization and wishing him success in his work.
During the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of coordinating the work efforts and joint cooperation between the ministry and the organization.
It was also agreed to support economic diversification and industrial policies in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and to exchange information, data and experiences between the Organization and the Ministry, in addition to that they emphasized the importance of studies, consultations and training courses provided by the Organization to serve the efforts of the GCC countries.
