The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) took part in the 8th Bosphorus Summit “Designing the future: the new challenge of globalization” under the patronage of Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Turkey, from the 28th till the 30th of November 2017 in Istanbul, Turkey. Heads of states and governments, officials, businessmen, entrepreneurs, intellectuals and academics from 80 different countries participated in the event.
GOIC’s participation comes in the context of the memorandum of understanding signed with the International Cooperation Platform (ICP) to strengthen Gulf-Turkish cooperation, particularly in the economic and industrial fields. It also aims to stimulate exchange of expertise in the best interest of Gulf countries.
GOIC was represented by HE Mr. Abdulaziz Bin Hamad Al-Ageel and the Organization’s delegation of HE Dr. Ali Al-Mulla, Assistant Secretary General for Industrial Investment and a number of directors.
Mr. Al-Ageel said that GOIC’s participation for the fifth consecutive time reflects its important role in boosting economic and industrial development and in strengthening public-private cooperation and partnership between countries in the region and Turkey, particularly in the areas of investment and trade.
Furthermore, the organizers honoured HE Mr. Abdulaziz Bin Hamad Al-Ageel for GOIC’s contribution to the success of the summit for the fifth consecutive year, notably in terms of attracting Gulf participation and choosing topics.
The organizers said the 8th Bosphorus Summit included valuable sessions on projects in the fields of energy, transportation, telecommunication, information technology, health, agriculture and youth capacity development.
The summit is indeed a platform bringing together politicians, businessmen and entrepreneurs from various countries in the middle east and all over the world to discuss visions, ideas and success stories.
