GOIC organises an industrial classification course in Doha

The course aims at developing industrial statistical activities
In the last quarter of 2016, the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) continues to organise specialised training courses aiming at developing the skills of industrial sector’s staff to help them keep up with the latest developments in this vital sector.
In this regard, GOIC will hold the industrial classification course from the 23rd till the 25th of October, 2016 at its headquarters in Doha, Qatar. The course will be delivered by Mr. Hatem Al-Rashid, economic specialist at GOIC.
The course targets industrial classification staff at the ministries of commerce, industry and economy in the GCC, in addition to employees at statistical departments, customs, other relevant governmental entities and the private sector.
It aims at improving industrial statistical skills, developing industrial statistical activities, and coordinating and unifying statistical methods used in the various industrial activities. Participants will also get to know the latest ISIC4 updates, conversions methods and the harmonised system.
The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) offers a number of training workshops to concerned parties according their needs in various fields through its Training and Capacity Development Program (TCD). GOIC aims at improving individual and organisational capacities in the industrial sector in GCC countries and Yemen.
