Minister of Energy and Industry meets the Secretary General of Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC)

H.E. Mr. Abdul Aziz Bin Hamad Al-Aqeel , the Secretary General of Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) visited on Tuesday the March 22nd, 2011, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Bin Salih Al-Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry, at his office in the Ministry of Energy and Industry, in Doha, Qatar. At the onset Mr. Al-Aqeel congratulated Dr. Al-Sada on his appointment as the Minster of Energy and Industry of the State of Qatar. The meeting discussed all the issues related to industry in the State of Qatar in particular and in the GCC member states in general. Views and ideas which will have effective impact on bolstering the relations of GOIC with the industrialists in both private and public sectors in the GCC states were reviewed. H.E. the Secretary General expressed his gratitude to the State of Qatar, presented in the person of H.H. Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar for the continued support GOIC receives from the host country.

It is worth mentioning that GOIC had started a promotional plan on directing more attention towards the private sector as well as the public sector, with the aim to deepen the roots of relations between industrialists in both private and public sectors in the region. GOIC aspires to promote the accumulated knowledge and expertise GOIC has gained through the last three decades, leading to expanded the horizons of public masses and the a larger database of clients, in order to realize a vital promotion that contribute to industrial diversification and development that lead to economic development in the region. All these eventually lead to realization of industrial integration, establishment of joint ventures, improvement of their products, sustainment of the introduction and promotion efforts of GOIC in the regional and the international fora.

Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) is a regional organization headquartered in Doha, State of Qatar. It operates as consulting organization based on knowledge in order to develop industries in the region through provision of data and information, specialized researches, consultations and technical services for both private and public sectors in the GCC states. GOIC is a leading expertise institution in the field of industrial consulting, sustainment of industrial integration and coordination in the member states. GOIC has in its membership the GCC member states in addition to the Republic of Yemen.
