There are six distinct database
modules accessible through the IMI Portal:
Gulf Industrial Database: A collection
of more than 10,000 operational factories, and
over 10,000 licensed factories within the GCC.
Classifications applied follows the ISIC code for
the factories, and HS for the products. Data includes
name or title, address, designed capacity, actual
production, investment, laborers and the raw materials.
Foreign Trade Database: This
database contains statistics on imports,
exports and re-exports of goods for the GCC
region as a whole as well as individual states
in a time-series format.
Socio-Economic Database: A
collection of 400 statistical tables, covering
country socio-economic indicators for individual
GCC States, and a matrix for the GCC as one
block. Data covered include: population,
workforces, national accounts, foreign trade,
financial and monetary statistics, industry,
oil and gas, transport, education, health,
etc.
Experts Database: A database
that provides information on consulting establishments
and experts in various sectors, operating
in the GCC region or worldwide.
Investment Opportunities Database: A
database of industrial investment opportunities
for distinct products, as identified by GOIC.
These opportunities cover among other, a
product description, its capacity, marketing,
technologies, raw materials, manpower, capital,
profitability and so forth.
Technology Provider Database: This
database compiles various names and addresses
of worldwide new technologies on offer, in
areas of interest to and as identified by
GOIC. Descriptions and Applications of the
concerned technologies are provided. |
