What is it?

The GSPX program works as a matchmaking mechanism between main contractors and subcontractors - usually small and medium industries (SMIs). The Program operates as a technical information Center for business contacts and promotion of inquiries and opportunities, mainly through GOIC’s GCC Subcontracting and Partnership Exchange Portal (GSPX).

 

Industrial Subcontracting

Establishes links between contractors and suppliers of parts, components, sub-assemblies, industrial processes or services.

Partnerships

Alliances where special provisions are made by the main contractors to the subcontractors, such as supply of special raw materials, specialized equipment, technical assistance, license agreements and in some cases equity participation.

GSPX program focuses on five sectors for subcontracting

• Plastics
• Rubber
• Electrical & Electronics
• Industrial Services

In addition, the petrochemicals & desalination sectors in GCC are another priority.

What is it?

Part of GOIC’s Industrial Sub-contracting and Partnership Exchange (SPX) program, the GSPX portal is an online, subscription-based business information tool that allows large, small and medium companies to enhance their business by precise industrial matchmaking at the regional and at global levels.

The portal is made up of two key components

GCC Suppliers Database
Find suppliers and customers in record time

The Suppliers Database is an extensive searchable database of main contractors and subcontractors in GCC countries and Yemen. It is the easiest, most effective way for companies to find suppliers and potential customers at the click of a button.

GCC Tenders Database
Delivering opportunities at your doorstep

The Tenders Information System0(TIS) Database is the largest, most up-to-date database of industrial tenders in the GCC. GOIC experts keep track of tenders on daily basis, filtering and dispatching industry-appropriate notifications of tenders and leads to GSPX subscribers by fax or email daily. Tender databasecan also be accessed directly from GSPX website.
