GOIC organises a workshop about SME feasibility studies in Jordan

To complete its Gulf capacity development program activities

In completion of the series of workshops held by the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) under the Training and Capacity Development Program (TCD), the Organization holds a training about SME feasibility studies and their assessment from a fiduciary standpoint. The workshop is organised in collaboration with the Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences (AABFS) in Amman, Jordan from the 24th till the 27th of November 2014.
The workshop aims at providing participants with necessary basic knowledge and skills to prepare an economic feasibility study, to work on analysing the viability of SMEs and to assess the feasibility study from a fiduciary viewpoint.

This training targets staff of credit departments within banking and financial institutions, ministries and chambers of industry and commerce. It also targets new employees and all professionals involved in preparing feasibility studies and assessing the viability of SMEs.

The themes of this workshop include: general feasibility study concepts, preliminary feasibility study, time value of money (TVM), the concept of cash flow and its applications, steps to prepare feasibility studies and its sections of the market study, technical, financial and economic studies, methods to assess enterprises, payback period, accounting method, net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR) and decision making.
