GOIC holds the “Project Management Program” training in Doha
07 September 2014

In light of its increasing role in achieving success based on strong foundations

Project management programs are becoming substantially important for various institutions and project managers. In fact, good project planning and management highly contributes to the success of the project. Contrarily to poorly-managed projects, good project management relies on well-studied and experimented programs. In this regard, studies show that most projects fail because of a lack of organisational support, notably in terms of the human factor and 37% of the projects fail to succeed because of mediocre planning and management.
Consequently, the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) is holding the “Project Management Program” workshop from the 22nd till the 25th of September 2014 at GOIC’s headquarters in Doha, Qatar. The workshop will include theoretical and practical training of project managers, researchers, planners, workers in relevant administrations and project coordinators, particularly from the industrial sector.
The training will provide participants with basic project management concepts and tools and will shed light on the project life cycle, risk management, reasons behind the failure of a certain project and key roles and responsibilities of project managers. In addition, participants will get to know practical means of assistance and pre-set forms aiming at helping them implement a good project management program.
GOIC seeks to promote individual and organizational capacities of the industrial sector in GCC countries and Yemen through its Training and Capacity Development Program (TCD). You can visit GOIC website www.goic.org.qa and register online for similar workshops or communicate with us via Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
